Viral Ads - Pikachu Man
I was tasked with creating a series of Tumblr house ads to promote the platform on websites powered by Automattic, Tumblr’s parent company. I was given a lot of creative control and I wanted to put out some simple ads that still captured the bizarre culture of Tumblr users.
Fan Reaction
Users had a massive reaction to the ads making original memes, fanart, and text posts. Even adding onto the narrative and writing their own backstory for the characters in the ads.
